How do you get a good contractor, one that won’t rip you off or do shoddy work? We went to the Kitsap Home Show and talked to several builders. Next we picked three that appeared acceptable and checked the Department of Labor and Industries website to make sure they were not in trouble. The next step was the interview and request for bids.

After all this one man stood out because he was so sincere and wanted to do a good job. So we hired Michael Glading, owner of Accurate Builders. Michael and his crew never once said, “We can’t do that.” It was always, “Okay, we can make that work.” So they gutted our bathroom and replaced it with as nice a bath as we could ever desire. Two years later we wanted to extend our back porch. We didn’t bother checking anyone else out, we called Michael. In two weeks we had exactly the porch we wanted.

In both cases Michael’s crew were friendly, thorough, and efficient. They arrived when they promised and got the work done on schedule. The sub-contractors Michael brought in were equally as good as Michael’s own crew. We had no apprehension about any of the workers Michael brought to our home. Everyone was polite and professional. We would not hesitate to recommend Accurate Builders to anyone thinking of having work done on their home. You couldn’t do any better.
